Getting Ready to Renew Our Wedding Vows (pics and videos of dress and location)
Hey guys!
As some of you have already heard, Mike and I are planning on renewing our wedding vows in April of this year. March 29th will be our 10th anniversary and so we're excited to reaffirm our committment to eachother and to our children, helping them to rest assured that they are in a secure home that will not end up broken, like so many of their friends' homes. It's important to us that they are a part of the ceremony and are able to be proud of the fact that they have parents that love eachother, and them, so much! Mike and I are so blessed to have found eachother and I really could not ask for a better lifelong partner and friend.
Anyhow, recently I have been making the preparations for the ceremony and reception, as well as shopping for a dress. We were very young when we got married originally and did not have the money to really do what we wanted, so one of the things that was skimped on was my dress. Not that I didn't love it, but I was really looking forward to being able to find my dream dress this time around and I have! :) I'm so excited! Here are a bunch of pics and video for you all to see so you can be a part of the experience somewhat with me. I have sooo many friends in all of you now and it's hard to not have you all closeby with me while I go do these things. Anyway, hope you enjoy some of these pics and videos...

So I went and bought my wedding dress yesterday after shopping on Saturday with my mom. It's my dream dress. :) It's a beautiful dress made by Mori Lee with a pick-up skirt with beading at the pick-ups and a corset style top with a 'v' at the waist. It laces up the back (which is my favorite back style) and has a short train. Some of these still pics are at the store, but the lady didn't lace the back up completely there (just did every other one). The pics in front of the white wall were taken at home by Katrina, hehe, and I had to have her help me cinch the dress up in the back (don't want Mike to see it yet, hehe) so it wasn't quite as cinched as it needs to be in the home pics, but at least we laced it all the way so you can see the detail a little better. :) Anyway, I am soooo excited! The video clips were at the store yesterday when I tried it on for the 2nd time. Katrina took one of the videos, so it's a bit crazy, and my MIL took the other 2. At least it can FEEL like you guys got to be there with me, right? I sure wished I could've had all my friends with me to try it on!!! I did all my shopping on Saturday with Katrina and my mom though. It was fun. :) I didn't get to do that with my mom the 1st time around so it was very special to both of us I think. The dress will look even better when I lose about 5 lbs before the ceremony too. :) Gotta get back into my lower comfortable maintenance range for all the new wedding pics!

The dress I ordered for Katrina:

and some video- the 1st is one Katrina took at David's bridal of me trying on dresses with my mom and her... This wasn't the store where I found THE dress, but we didn't take video at that store. LOL.
